Sight Pins

I am going to Sell my HHA single pin for a Copper John. What is everyones preference .029 or .019 pins.? I am having a hard time deciding which way I want to go. My HHA is .019 which is nice for long target shots but for hunting what would be recomended? Thanks

I think its personal pref... I have a copper jon and have the .19... I do believe the larger pins gather more light? Which might help you in low light situations.

I have .29 pins and looking closely at it this past week i realized that to get the fiber optic wire to stay in the pin, they melt it over, creating a mushroom like end where you actually aim with. This would be something to look into, Do the .19 and the .29 pins have the same "mushroom" diameter? if yes, go with the .29, because the actual sight pin would be the same diameter. if not, personal preference. hope you understand what i am trying to say. just something to look into
