Whats the opinion on a seperate forum for jokes, riddles, and all the funny comical stuff most of us post here from time to time?

I think that is a great idea. There is another web site that does this and they call it "This Ain't Fihsin" forum. It kinda filters out the non-fishing "stuff". thanks

No offense guys, but I personally would like to keep it fishing. If you got a fishing or hunting joke great, but a separate forum?

I can see it now getting out of hand! It's hard enough at times keeping regular forums clean and civil!

Again, my opinions alone!

Alright this is the official OUTDOOR JOKE thread. I'll start.

Bubba and Billy Bob were out deer hunting. Bubba was pretty new to this whole deer hunting thing, so Billy Bob had told him all about a clean kill, and field dressing, etc.
Well, after an afternoon up in the stand, Bubba heard some noise in the woods, he got buck fever and fired. He went over to where he thought his deer should be, and realized he had shot his good friend Billy Bob.

Bubba rushed him to the hospital. After what seemed like a very long time, the doctor came out shaking his head. He told Bubba, "The gunshot wound wasn't too bad, and we could have saved Billy Bob if you hadn't field-dressed him."

A couple goes on vacation to a fishing resort in northern Minnesota. The husband likes to fish at the crack of dawn. The wife likes to read. One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a short nap. Although she isn't familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and continues to read her book. Along comes the game warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside her and says,"Good morning, Ma'am, what are you doing?" "Reading my book," she replies, thinking isn't that obvious? "You're in a restricted fishing area," he informs her. "But officer, I'm not fishing. Can't you see that?" "Yes, but you have all the equipment. I'll have to take you in and write you up." "If you do that, I'll have to charge you with rape," says the woman. "But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden. "That's true, but you do have all the equipment." MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads.

This young fella decides to try some hang gliding. He starts out on the small hills close to town practicing for a weekend go at the big mountains. Come Saturday he's up bright an early. He straps on his glider and jumps of the mountain, glidin' like an eagle.
In the mean time Bubba and Billy Jo are hunting in the valley. Billy Jo looks up. "Good grief Bubba! Look at the size of that bird". Bubba raises up his 10 gauge, flaming Garfunkel, 93 yard goose getter and cuts loose with a couple of rounds. "Didja gitem, didja gitem"?, shouts Billy jo.
"Naw. But I made it drop that young fella it had a hold of."

I would welcome a "General Discussion" area...After all, we fisherman and hunters don't always talk about fishing and hunting.

Examples: General Politics, World News, Sports, Jolks (clean ones), Computers, Your Neighbor's Tools That You Still Have, Gardening, Feeding the Birds, Staying with Two Pair....Whatever.

It may be a little tricky keeping it all cival from time to time, but I think for the most part it would be fun. We do have enough Mods who would gladly get their zapper out if things got ugly.

I don't know....Maybe we don't have enough room on the server though?....Just mention Global Warming once!

I think that any post is ok . we do not have to view it if the topic doesn't interest you. but waiting for ice is hard not to read everything that I can that's fishing related .
