Anyone chasing bears?

I took all last week off had some good races but didn’t put any up until Thurs then we put 2 up in the morning and 1 in the afternoon then one more sat morning.

I would like to hear how other hound hunters are doing!

Boy I'd sure like to try that someday. Right now all I can do is wait till leagal baiting. Have all my bait an just formulating a plan of tricks to try. Last year was a bust three hits an then a dissapearing bear trick had me frustrated for a month till I had to hang it up an move on to other things. Good for you though, how long dose bear hounding last in WI. Later boar

* with aid of bait

* with other methods not utilizing dogs

I know the crew has been out and I'm sure several bears have been put up - I haven't made it out but will soon....haven't heard the hounds since March, haven't heard 6 of them treed since????
