The Best Muskie Lure ever!

Recommended Posts

I am curious to see what other people feel is the best lure for Muskie. I personally like the Giant Jackpot either in white or black/orange. This is a spot for you to share your favorite lure and maybe find a new favorite.

Favorite lure, almost like what is your favorite beer... For me I would have to say a black spinner bait. Not necessarily my favorite to throw, but a tried and true fish locater.

Well, I am not sure that black/orange Giant jackpot is my favorite lure any more. About 7 hours after my origanl post I had that lure hanging from the back of my hand with one of the treble hooks deeply embeded in my flesh. After a few attempts to remove it I decided I needed to have it removed. I told the Doc in the ER to save the lure. He said normally they just pop the hook through cut the barb off then back it out. He was able to save the hook. He made a litlle incision and she came right out. 2 stitches and I was on my way home. Ironic that this happened after I started this post.
