Nothign to do with open water was just looking to get some help. I was wopndering how i do the little avatar pic thing with my profile.

If you click the "my home" link halfway up the page this will bring you to an area where you can personalize your profile. Click on "edit" for personal information. Near the bottom of the page is the way to add an avatar. The pic you choose has to be on a web host. You can't just upload from home computer.

This is going to sound like a really ignorant question but what is a web host?

Simply put a "web host" is site that hosts pictures, movies or other kinds of files. If you want to create your own avatar from a pic you have you will need to sign up at some site like photobucket or one of the others and upload a photo in the correct size. There are many sites where you can upload your own photos etc for sharing with others.
