fellowx
My cheap walmart universal boat cover is leaking big time. I've seen some of the covers from Cabelas and Mills Fleet Farm. Any experience and recommendations for boat covers. The boat is stored outside all year and all I really care for is something that is durable and waterproof. Any help would be appreciated. Thank! peerchking
I agree with bass n spear. You can buy the cheap stuff but thats what you get. When I bought my 2002 lund fisherman new I had a costem cover made to fit the boat. this included extra protection on wear points, vents, motor cover ,bungee sewed all the way around. And the material is water prof, mildew resistent, tear prof, and is 1/4 the weight of canvas. And mine is parked out side yearround. Now it all depends on your boat but costom cover can cost $300-$1000 depending on what you want. Go to the phone book and look up upholstery.Or talk to a local boat dealer. I hope this helps. I myself had an in! my DAD's an upholsterer.
fellowx
It's an older boat so I don't want to spend more than $150. it's a 1998 Deep V with the full windshield. I'm not as concerned about fitting just mainly want something that is durable and waterproof. A Custom cover would be too much for me right now. bassNspear
There is alot of stores that carry alot of different covers. Most of them should work for you. I was going to say custom for about 600.
Valv
I might have a couple of "new but used" Lund covers that might fit, but you have to take boat here to try out.$ 50.00 and you'll have a cover that will outlast the boatYou will not find much durability for $ 150.00 nowadays.Mine are new but I tried them on boats and never put them back, they are bundled up and dusty
