fishinchicks
The club soda is supposed to make them light and fluffy. Worth a try! Let us know how they turn out.
BigWadeS
It works great to add some, you will be amazed, but you can go to your local Perkins and buy a box of mix for like $2 or something like that

wazz
I worked there for over 20 years, it was the 50lbs of number 1 mix, 5 dozen eggs, 3 quarts of oil and 5 gallons of buttermilk. The key is not to mix it to long, and put it in the refrigator to let it raise. Not sure what was in the number 1 flour mix. But thats the rest of it Wazzzz
