I love my icefishing toys and thought it would be fun to find out your top 5 favorite icefishing accessories. I know it's hard to only pick 5, but do your best.

1. Fl-18
2. Croxton bag
3. Strike Sensors
4. Frabil Speed Shak
5. Jiffy

-- I expect one to lose it's rank as soon as I use my Princeton Tec Aurora headlamp.

Well, some of what's been listed so far sounds like necessities to this modern ice fisherman. I never started out in the old cup-style hand auger, hand line and plastic bucket. Sorry.

My necessities:
1. FL8-SLT
2. Fish Trap II
3. Strikemaster XL-3000 10-inch
4. Black Cat heater
5. Round HT insulated 10-inch tip-ups

My fun/comfort:
1. Blue glow light
2. Plastic Coleman pop-up seat back
3. Leatherman multitool
4. Skis on bottom of Trap
5. Beer

But really, IS IT TIME YET?

Man, there are so many things that would like to put on this list. But if I had to choose:

1) Vexilar
2) OVS 500
3) Strike Master power auger
4) Fish Trap II
5) Heater
(honorable mention: GPS)

Ofcourse I'm gonna need rods and reels, a lantern for at night, and tackle and bait, but those are my favorite toys.

Good Fishin, Matt.

1. My Jigger DLX shelter (customized to my needs of course.)
2. My Buddy Heater
3. Lazer Mag auger
4. The Vex (we'd be blind otherwise!)
5. My Rock 'n Reel (don't need no bobbers anymore!)

second five:
1. the rack I built that slides into the hitch receiver on my truck. It carries my shelter and auger. (easy on/off.)(no room in truck.)
2. My solid graphite rod selection.
3. The rod rack in the back of my Tahoe Sport.(also home made)(up high and out of the way)
4. My friend's 4 wheeler.
5. Jet-A

There's just too many to only list five and some go hand in hand.........T (I'm not gonna make it another month!)

1- My wife- Shame on you guys for me being the first one to put this down! Ha Ha.
2- My FL-18- It was close to being #1. Almost as important as the rod and hook.
3- Buddy Heater- just enough heat to make things comfy.
4- Ice Buster bobbers- hard to go back to anything else now.
5- Beef sticks and soda- don't usually drink when I ice fish.

That will change in a year or two when my now 4 1/2 month old boy is able to go. He shoots right to the top of the list.
