I don't know about you guys, but I getting really antsy. And I'm also really irritated that nobody has the equipment out yet. When can we expect to see the ice augers and 28 inch rods out?

It's too bad that most of these stores don't have room for both hunting and fishing stuff in large numbers. I would bet 3 more weeks and the ice gear will be fully stocked!

As soon as the firearms opener has come and gone things will begin pouring out.

Looking for most of our stuff to hit the floor between 11/1 and 11/15....

I do have an ice rod "pail sale" going right now...have a few 28" HT signature rods...a few YAD...and some Frabill Sensives...

The snap in the air is making me antsy too....i've got my eye on the new double wide polar sport...(sled based portable...6'x12'!)

Yes! I swung into sportmans warehouse, and they got the stuff out. Everything they have will be out in 1 week. Get the plastic out!

Up here in Superior, one of the best outdoor stores, Northwest Outlet, has a whole wall of ice fishing stuff up. They know what autumn evil lurks in the frustrated minds of ice fishermen. Ahhhhhh

I was in Fleet Farm yesterday, and asked one of the clerks when the ice fishing toys would be out. He responded that they were busy getting the (kiddie) toys out.

I told him that kids can play w/ toys all year long, but ice fishing comes once a year.

He grinned.
