Dust Devil Softball

Had a busy weekend shooting softball and baseball but probably my most unique shot of the weekend was this giant dirt devil. It formed over the field and moved into the grass and died about 1 minute after if formed. Four games stopped to watch.

Mark IIN, 300/2.8, ISO 250, 1/6400s, f2.8

Debris flying up, shallow DOF because I was shooting the game at f2.8, just had a quick chance to fire off 5 or 6 frames.

Nice captures, Dan. Yikes, I wouldn't want to be standing in that infield just then. Good thing your camera was back away from it.
