I am a big fan of the Slots and catch and realse but is there any lakes outside of milacs that has a bigger slot. It seems that every lake I have fished this summer has been 17 to 26 inches I have had to put back a lot of 17 1/2 inch fish. Just wondering

Check the regs book.

It will list all special slots for every lake. Its probably easier to look at what lakes have slots then for us to start listing all the lakes we know that don't have special slots.

You can read it online on the DNR HSOforum if you don't have the book handy.

Most lakes just follow the normal slot limits of 6 fish under 20 inches with one of those six being allowed to be bigger.

So most lakes those 17 1/2 inch fish would be just fine to keep.
