1992 Camry

I have a 92 Camry with the 4 cylinder engine. I think its 2.2 but not sure. My timing belt broke and im wondering if my engine is shot? I have heard from some that my engine is shot and others say nope just put a new timing belt in it and it will be good to go. So anyone know for sure? Thanks for any info.

If its not a 1.5 "1981 to 1993" or 2.2 Deisel "all" its not an interference engine.

So if your engine is a 2.2 and its not a deisel your good to go!

Slap a belt in it (might want to consider a water pump also) and fire it up!! It will be fine! They come in all the time with broken belts.
