Ford Ranger power window motor replacement

Big Laker

Question

my power window motor went out. I have the door panel off and all wires disconnected. I removed a few screws that looked to be holding the motor in place, but something is still holding the motor in place.

Does anyone know exactly how to remove this motor?

thanks.

I dont know what year you have, but most windom motors have 3 screws, you might have to drill a hole in the inner door sheet metal to access the 3rd screw, there should be a dimple in the metal, if you have taken out the 3 screws, and it still doesnt pop out, if the window is in the full up, or full down position, it will hold it in place, you might have to pry it out, or lower the window from the stop position.
