Sandbar
I found a few recipes online for homemade guacamole. But I was curious if anyone on FM has "secret" recipe they would like to share. Thanks in advance,Dean
macgruber
2 avocados mashed up, 1 tomato chopped, 1 clove garlic chopped or crushed small, 1/4-1/2 a lime worth of juice, don't forget the worcestire sauce-- i think it ends up being around a tsp., though just add a few drops till it tastes right.... if ya like it spicier, add some tabasco, just don't overdo it or it starts tasting like vinegar....a little chopped onion or cilantro are also optional, though not necessary.....the key is the worcestire sauce-- often overlooked, but adds a lot to the guac..... Coach Dog
Use Roma tomato and also add a tbsp or two of mayo to that recipe. Delish!
Hotspotter
I'm somewhat partial to Bar Abeline's tableside guac recipe (they make it right in front of you). It's rough, and I just make everything to taste, so mess around with these ingredients!1 avacadotsp minced garlic (less if you're not a true garlic fan)celery salt (careful, only a bit)dash of worchestersprinkle or two of lemon juicechopped cilantro if you're partial to itIt's simple, and delicious. gundy89
We use the package seasoning, but throw some more stuff in. I'm partial to not mashing the avacadoes and will slice them up in little chunks. Then add:Black BeansOnionsGreen & Red PeppersJalepenosCornCilantroHot sauceLime JuiceTomatos
