Depth finder/GPS won't fully fead Nav. chips

I think I might have a problem with my depth finder. It dosn't seem to show much for contours on Rainy. My old Nav. Reg. 10 chip has more contours on it than the new one does. Did they skip Rainy or is my depth finder bad? HTB

How far did you zoom down to? On the Nav. LOTW 1' contour map I had to zoom down to i think 1/8 of a mile screen resolution before the 1' contours showed up. Up to that point it was 5' contours. Try zooming in all the way and see what you get. I will check my 07 chip tonight for Rainy as it should be the same as yours.

huminbird depth finders use a different scale for zooming in than Lowrance does. I have it zoomed in all the way and it only shows general contours, but it does shown 1 ft. contours on most other local lakes. I'm thinking the 07 north doesn't have much for Rainy Lk. and was wondering if anyone knows of any chips that do have better contours. HTB
