Does anyone have a Lund 1800 fisherman with a Honda 130?

fishingdad

Question

I have this boat and motor setup and I wrecked my prop on Rainy. (Yep it was one of those nice rocks). I had a mer/marine stainless vengeance 16p prop. and i am curious what anybody with this setup has for a prop on theirs. The holeshot with this was ok not great and the Topend was 40 mph on a good day. I would like to know likes and dislikes and your holeshot and topend speed with the prop anyone has on their 130 mounted on a 1800 fisherman Thank You

Thanks bigtimeelectric. That was my worse nightmare thought when it happened. That my lower unit was trashed, but I did tear it apart and replace all the seals I got lucky. I see your address is ottertail lake You lucky (B) I practically grew up on the channel from Walker to Ottertail and am headed there in a couple weeks to fish (after I hopefully find a prop that will suit me) thanks for the reply tho. maybe I'll see you fishin' out there I'll be the one going from 1mph -15mph in 30 seconds and 15 to 40 in 5 seconds

I have a 1800 but not a honda but Im curious about the fuel useage you get I had a 125 Merc with a alum 19 pitch and with that I had to have 4fow under me to get up or I would take out a prop beleive me two props later I traded for a 150 Merc with a 21 pitch ss I now get out in the length of the boat and 3ft works just fine 52 top end and best of all I use less fuel by a little, I also have a four stroke 15 Merc on for a kicker love that thing for a troller.

hawghunter I would say that 3 fow is about the shallowest I would try but I'm not even close to getting my boat up as fast as you I really wouldn't say I have the stern drop - bow rise that I have to wait for 4 feet tho'.Just realized yesterday that I do have a lower unit problem now (stuck in gear) *#%@& it anyway
