I heard on NASCAR Now last night that sales of Dale Jr merchandise are up 107% since he announced his split from DEI. This apparently came as a surprise to industry officials.

My first thought was watch out on HSOList for "collector" items!

I had also seen a couple weeks back that the drivers and team owners must have all of next years plans finalized by August. It will be interesting as I bet JR & DEI will sell out a lot of his STUFF this summer and fall as he will have new car # and merchandise for this upcoming season. I seen on Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain that DEI would not give up the #8 to anyone, so here we go with all new merchandise for JR.

Yea, even if Jr. wanted the #8 to go with him, which I don't think he really cares, there is no way in God's green earth that Teresa would do anything for him she doesn't have to now.
