Boat recycling

Hello,

I have a old boat that I have been paying storage on for several years. Trying selling a couple of times, but people seem to shy away from older boats.

I'm thinking about just getting rid of it. Anyone know if there is anything like boat recyclers? Or where one would take a old boat to get rid of it.

Boat is kind of big, 24ft Slickcraft.

No, the boat is Fiberglas. Its a cutty with a 351Ford and OMC outdrive. The old electric shift.

You'll probably have to pay to get rid of the boat. But you should be able to sell or scrap out the motor and outdrive.

Some nonprofits take boats for donation. I gave a car to Easter Seals/Goodwill last November. You'll get a tax deduction.

The boat does have a trailer. Would end up selling it separately. The sad thing is, the boat does work. Engine only has 650hrs on it.
