AaronM
If I have an old (10 years) Lx 65 Lowrance graph and a new Eagle 480, could the transducers be mounted right next to each other without interferance, or would one have to be mounted on the other side? Thanks!
0 kunk
I have transducers mounted on opposite sides of the outboard and still get interference. What I was told was to eliminate that I would have to mount the transducer for the graph in front to either the trolling motor, or shoot thru the hull. Not what I wanted to hear either, but it might save you some trouble. Not sure if there are any alternatives, but check it out.
0 Capt. Don*
Find out what frequency the machines are, if they are different interference won't be an issue. If they the same you will have trouble. If I recall the older lowrance were 192KHz, and I think the new ones went to 50/200KHz like most are.
