Red Lines

I'm curious if anyone tried the red fishing lines for the first time this past weekend, and what your results were. I put on some red Power Pro and it didn't seem to make much of a difference with the fish.

I had on cajun red. I caught just as many as the other guys in my group who were using regular mono, vanish, and crystal fire line. I would say line type or color did not make much of a difference in our group last weekend.

Here's my "Cajun Red Advantage" story. I switched to this copolymer for snells for both spinners and slip floats. Last night a hooked and landed a 44 inch 22 pound Northern using the 10 pound test Cajun Red Advantage as a snell. I don't think the line color had anything to do with it but I'm sold on the quality of the product.

what I don't understand is they tell you to use red line because it disapears under water then they tell you to buy red hooks because they resemble blood?
