Old motor repair shops in the Metro?

Any recommendations on a good repair shop in the Twin Cities that'll work on older motors? Hannay's refuses to do so and the Robbinsdale guy overcharged the last time.

I've got a '79 Evinrude that needs some work.

Not quite metro but there's a guy on the north side of Northfield that specializes in older motors. "Boat Motor Repair and Restoration" - Steve Hansen. 952-484-8807. He got my '55 Johnson 10hp running great.

I have had good experiences with Boat Motor Recyclers in Burnsville.

I had good service with boat motor reclyers too. I don't care for twin cities outboard.

Wow, I thought that I had a pretty comprehensive list of boat shops in the metro, but Boat Motor Recyclers is new to me. I'll give them a call.

I do want to amend my initial comment. The Robbinsdale guy actually diagnosed my motor and gave a good price for fixing it. I didn't want to lead anyone in the wrong direction. They do a great job.
