MuskieJunkie
I'm looking at used boats in the $10k range and I came across one that has a cracked hull that has been patched. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this, my first reaction is to stay away. Is this a huge problem, is it something that should be permenetly fixed for a lot of money? Wayne Ek
MJ: If it's a hull puncture I would not be to concerned. I have punctured the hull on a couple of my rangers and the repairs were just as good as new. If it's a running hull crack, like a stress fracture, then you need to use caution. I would steer away from that particular boat.
MuskieJunkie
Thanks for input. The more I looked into it and thought about it the less I like the idea. I passed on that one.
