Didn't anyone go?

I am surprised there's no chat about the Wisconsin opener here. Didn't anyone go get their bass fix yesterday or today in the Badger state?

My brother and I went. It wasn't terribly good. We caught 21 in about 6 hours on Saturday. Spinnerbaits were hands down the most effective bait for us. Caught a few swimming a grub as well. Size was on the smaller side - we never cracked 15". The wind was big though. Wow, even the little lake we fished was rolling like the open seas.

yea no kiddin those winds were killer, white caps on rush for me, didnt even go out on the boat

I've been fishing smallies on the WI river for a few weeks but i did go out on sunday for a couple of hours on a lake. 4 bass 3 pike. Biggest bass was around 17", decent fish. Fished various parts of the lakes, caught them all out of one windblown bay with a black spinnerbait burned over the emerging weeds.

Anyone see any bedded bass yet?
