heres the skinny bought a new 16' fisher last year. First mistake, had a 50 horse 4-stroke carbed on it. was recalled do to valve problem i think? was replaced with a 50 horse 4-stroke EFI. now i cant pull a many rpm 5100 tops compared to 5700 with the first motor. same prop is being used. could this be a linkage problem? the reason i ask is that it shifts into gear right away but then a big dead spots till the throttle hit about the 10 o'clock position? any thoughts? thanks Snowking
