Reel Choice

Hello, just thought I would ask for a little advise/opinions. I have a 6' BassPro MicroLite Light action rod. I am trying to decide between the Shimano Symetry 750fb or the larger 1500. I will be useing it for pan fish. Any suggestions ?

6' UL for panfish... 750 hands down. That is what I have on 2 UL's and 2 1500's on my 7' ML and 6'6" M fast. I would really suggest the 750, should work well for you.

I agree, go with the 750, it will ballence that rod better!

Hey now.. easy with the use of the word "expert"... Glad I was able to help...

The 1500 holds 4-8lb test, with 170 yards of 4 lb and without the line weighs 9.5 oz... The 750 holds 2-6 yet still holds 120 yards of 4lb...and only weighs 6.9 oz, and then loose the weight of that extra 50 yards of line you would never need as well..
