Walleye71
Has anyone used this new bait yet? I suppose I will end up buying all the colors anyways but I would like to know if anybody has got a chance to try them out. They look like a really good bait. troyfideldy
Bought one Yesterday. I bought the green back with white belly. I went down to my lake and casted it a couple times. Acts just like a regular shad rap. Mine dove deep and caught weeds. Guess I have to put on my wadders and go deeper. Walleyes will like them. eyepatrol
I bought a few this year and will definitely work them over. Jury is still out, but I'm sure they'll have their place & time.
Mille Lacs Guy
I had a bunch from Rapala that I used all last year before they were officially released. I had good luck with them. I trolled them on leadcore as well flat line. The wobble is very similar to a shad rap but it has the profile of a original floating rapala. I would call it a hybrid of the original floating and shad rap.
tunrevir
I had some last year as well and they worked well for me. I used them in the same situations that I'd use a #7 shadrap. They run about the same depths but give a bit longer profile and a little tighter wobble. IMO. They will produce fish and will give them something different then what they have seen. It is a Rapala and that right there makes it a bait you will want to toss or troll. I am not afilliated with Rapala or any of their other companys but I like the product they put out. Walleye71
Pulled them this weekend in SD for a few hours. Picked up a few eyes. Maybe a little premature for them but it was fun to get some scratches in them.
Paul
I had good luck with them last fall in the shallows casting them on the rocks and slow retirive at night. Never used them in daylight since I dont see daylight fishing much late in the year. I now prefer the Taildancer though if the shdrap is failing.
