Dressing up Concrete stairs?

Anyone have any ideas how to dress up an older poured concrete stairs? Structurally, the stairs are great with minimal settling over the years. They have been painted a couple of times, different colors which are starting to flake off. Any low cost ideas?

Glue sequins to it.

Glue down some indoor outdoor carpet. Did this to my fathers stairs and they look good and have been there for ten years now.

Lay down brick pavers over the the pre-existing concrete....only thing to consider is that the brick pavers are 1" thick. Not sure if you have the much space to work with from your landing to the threshold. It looks great...and pretty sure i know someone who has them

The stairs are outside...i like the brick idea but not sure if I could make it under the threshold with a 1" brick. I will have to check that out. Any thoughts on painting the steps?
