This is a great graph that's about 2 years old and has been used very little, it was mounted in my bow. It's in great shape and I never had any trouble at all with it. I'm selling it because I upgraded to a unit that's compatable with the Lowrance network.

The transducer is in great shape and has a built-in temperature sensor. All mounting hardware and instructions are included. As an extra bonus I have a Cabelas black neoprene screen cover for the graph, they sell for $10.

I'd like to get $140 for everything. 612.801.7967

Tippman - If the kayak is fiberglass I assume it would read through the hull, but I don't know that for sure. That's a common application in fiberglass boats, attaching the transducer to the inside of the hull with epoxy and allowing it to shoot through the hull.

swmetroman - the tip about using the emulator is really good advice. Otherwise, you can get by with using the unit in the auto mode, just try it over known hard bottoms, known soft bottoms, weeds, etc to learn what the display is showing you. If you want to use it in manual mode, you can really dial in the bottom hardness and mark fish tight to bottom, but you need to know the basics of what you're seeing first. The best way to learn is to commit a 1-2-3 hour trip to just experimenting with the sonar and learning what it's showing you. If you have specific questions, try posting them in the Equipment or Open Water forums and you'll get many more responses.

It's a skimmer style transducer, it is not a puck style transducer. It can be used on a bowmount trolling motor or on the transom of the boat.

I had it mounted on my bowmount trolling motor with a $10 bracket that Lowrance sells for this purpose.

It comes with the the bracket you use to mount it to the transom. If you wanted it on the trolling motor you would need to buy the Lowrance bracket.

My kayak is made out of hard plastic called polylink 3 I believe. If it would read through the material normally I would be interested. If anyone knows chime in, otherwise when I get time I will ask around.
