Amps on onboard charger

Is there that much of an advantage to get a 30Amp charger vs. a 10Amp charger? just curious, want to pull the trigger soon and need some advice

How many banks are there, i.e. how many batteries is the charger for and what kind, deep cycle, starting?

I’m assuming that you are looking at a 3 bank charger with 10 amps per bank? This will be plenty for charging your deep cycles and starter battery. I used a 6 amp per bank charger for years and there were only a couple of times when it did not charge completely overnight (after a day of hard trolling motor use).
