Any pointer for fishing by trimont and fairmont MN (fox lake?)

does anyone fish around trimont or fairmont or know of any good lakes?

Try posting this in the South Central forum or the South West forum and you will have better luck. I work in Fairmont and it has some good fishing for crappies and an occasional walleye. I hear the bass fishing isnt too bad either. There are a couple other lakes with some decent fishing also. Good luck and welcome to FM!!!

Not sure where trimont or fairmont is, but if you are referring to Fox Lake in Rice County...I've fished it a couple of times.

Both times I came back with walleyes, trolling with spinners and leeches in shallow water. Somewhat close to the boat access. They were small, and almost looked like saugers. Fun though...caught a few northerns as well.
