Pike tip-up fishing on LOTW question?

Will be headed up to the Lake of the Woods area this coming Saturday, the 14th. The original plan was to fish sturgeon out of Four-Mile Bay. But, chances are that it will still be frozen then.

Has anyone heard of anything happening now for late-ice pike on LOTW? I have always heard that late-ice fishing can be really good. Just looking for a plan b. Less than a week to go so I'm getting a little nervous.

I posted this question also in the LOTW forum, but haven't had any luck on responses.

I had some buddies go there last weekend out of four-mile I believe who didn't have much luck. They didn't have many flags, but the fish they got were decent. One guy lost one they estimated over 20 lbs. that snapped 20 lb. tip-up line he has just spooled on.
