Cigarette lighter power cable for LMS-522c?

I was checking over the lei HSOforum and the only thing I saw said "power cable". No picure, or anyother description.

I'd think a cigarette adapter would be the best way to use the GPS part of the LMS-522c in my truck?

That power cable connects to the back of the unit and then just has wires running out of it. All you need to do is pick up a 12 volt plug at any auto part store or any other number of places and wire it up.

Ouch, that's an expensive flying lead cable. They want $40 for it.

What you can do is before you put it in your boat put the cig lighter end on it and use it that way in the boat and share the power cord as well as the unit.

Make sure you use an in-line fuse or the appropriate fuse size in the cigarette lighter adapter...
