lowrance ifinder h2o or ifinder map & music gps

broman

Question

I am trying to figure out whether to buy the ifinder h2o or the ifinder map & music. The map & music version is cheaper. What's the differences besides the fact that the map & music plays mp3s.

Well it all depends on what you are going to us it for??? The H20 is a really good unit, The Lowrance Hunt (which is a step up from the H20) will do everthing that it will do plus play music. So really what are you looking to do with this GPS??? smirk.gif

I don't care about the music. The main reason I ask about the comparison with the two is that although the map & music is discontinued you can still pick it up for cheaper than the h20. I'd like to save money, but want to make sure I don't miss out on anything by buying the map & music version.

I am going to purchase the iFinder H20C handheld unit. I plan to use it for open water and ice fishing with a '07 Hot Maps card. I see the plus version includes a digital media card and card reader/writer. Does anyone recommend adding the plus version for a addtional $100 or is this not necessary? Thanks!
