Too Early?

Just wondering if it would be too early to pour concrete in the year to add on to my driveway. Planning on adding about a 5 by 22 area on to the existing concrete this weekend if I can.

no not too early i believe the frost is out of the ground just make sure to dig out any muck or mudd and replace with class 5 or sand i would say atleast 3 inchs.

I wouldnt, my brotherinlaw has a concrete business and until the frost is completely out he wont do any work. Maybe its out where you are but its not here.

I agree with Bottomdweller, it may be a little bit early. I dont know about you, but I hate doing jobs twice especially when it comes to concrete.

Are they even delivering on Saturdays yet?

Road restrictions will apply,nothing over 7 tons axle wt is moving out of the pit by me.May be able to get short loads but that would be expensive.Burl.

if your worried about road restrictions just go to the ready mix plant you will buy from and drive the route to your house home if there are restrictions on the road it will be posted if there are no posted signs then it should be 9 ton roads.as for the frost it is out of the ground in the south metro. don't know about your area.
