swampbuck
Back from Isla Mujeres, had a great vacation with my wife and daughter, got out a few times for sails, we boated 6 in 2 days, had several other bites but could not get them hooked up. I thought I had some great photos of myelf with a nice sail but the guy did not push the shutter button down on my camera he said I got about 20 shots, when I looked no photos!!! I myself captured some great shots while he was fighting another sail, [image]http://[/image] [image][/image] [image]IMG] [/image]

traveler
Hey swampbuck, glad you got into some! That first pic is a great example of just how thin sailfish are! Great shots!Any other fish? Anyone getting any whites yet? How much did you end up paying for a boat?
FishingwithJake
I just got back from Cozumel. We went fishing for a day and caught 6 Barracuda, 5 Mahi, and a Spanish Mackrel for lunch. It was a great time!! I'm considering heading to Australia in December for some Blue & Black Marlin. Anyone ever fished for Marlin in Australia? traveler
No, but if I had a trip planned there I'd be darned sure to see if I could swing some fishing time! I know it's VERY expensive; most of the best fishing isn't easily accessible to a major port city, so travel/mother boat operations are common, and that gets expensive fast. That, and with some of the best black marlin fishing on the planet, they can charge what they want. Let us know what you find out if you get serious about it.
