going to kenora what to bring

We are leaving on wensday morning heading to kenora to do some trout fishing. Just wondering if we should bring snowmobiles or 4 wheelers. We portage about a mile through the woods and then acrossed the lake. just wondering if there is to much snow for 4 wheelers or not enough for snow sleds. any help would be great thanks

There is VERY little snow left, it has turned to water and slush on the ice and mud in the woods. We used snow machines Saturday but it wasn't great. The best travel is in a vehicle if possible. 4-wheelers were getting drenched.

Good luck. The season is darned well near over just because of travel.

Sorry, been away for a week.....let me know if you are still in need of help. I would say wheelers, lots of ice though for pickups.
