carlcmc
Having some fun with my Nikon D80 and my new 18-200mm VR lens. "Past the trees" - In flight "Upstroke" - Wings held high, readying for the next beat of the wing, the Canadian goose soars through the blue. "Downstroke" - Against the blue sky, the lone goose beats a down stroke. The sounds is not that much unlike flatulence. "Two look on" - Looking on as the goose flies by. We wonder what it is like to fly. "The Approach" - The goose on his approach readies with feet extending. "Collision" - It looks like he is going to smack the other goose in the water. "Jumping on the Water" - Is it too cold? Shall I get in? Where is the corn? What thoughts go through the pea brain of the goose? "Furrowing the water" - These two landed as geese do, furrowing into the water.

Carl,i wanted you to know i tried this story on my wife the other night while watching TV in bed. After my 3rd "chili induced carbon foot print" i got a very dirty look and comment. i replied "don't i sound like a beautiful goose in flight?" to which i received a pillow slamming onto my face.
