Swimming Jigs

Ok there are alot of different one but what are some of the best one on the market??? Colors??? Also what do you guys like to use for a trailer??? Any tips would be nice!!!

Im not talkin about the chatterbait type lures... Just the jig!!!!

I like to use the outkast tackle pro swim jig with a fat tail grub usually in a white color of sorts. Just my two cents on a swim jig.

I LIKE THE ALL TERRAIN JIGS PAIRED WITH A SIZZLER GRUB HOWEVER I'M NOT SURE THEY STILL MAKE THE GRUBS AS I HAVE NOT SEEN THEM FOR YEARS. FORTUNATELY I HAVE A FEW

I have tried quite a few and the Tom Monsoor BPS jig is

the best I've used. Goes thru cover and a quite a few colors

available. I personally use white most of the time and any

single tail grub works.

This is a presentation that I don't use often, ok not really at all. If I'm fishing weeds then I use a tube, fluke or something weedless. If I'm fishing rock then I jig, drag, hop ok I guess I swim it a lil. But not much. I'm prolly missing out.

So what conditions would a swim jig be a good choice? Like cool water spring time or would it work in midsummer?

I use two, The Booyah swim jig, but the Booyah Boo jig works just as well, and you can get it in the 1/4 oz which comes across the cover a little better. Trailers, I use several different kinds depending on conditions and water clarity. Zoom makes several different kinds that I would recommend using.

Sluggo haha i know what you use!!! I think i will be using this alot this coming season. Does it work no matter what the weather is right?? Sun or cloudy??

I've caught fish on it no matter what the weather. Boat positioning and technique is the key though.

I have liked the Outkast swim jig so far, but have heard great things about Brovarney Swim Jigs

I like the Outkast Swim Jig. The 1/4oz size is my favorite. My favorite color is rainbow shad and crawdad.

The best trailer I have found is a 4" Berkley Power Grub, rigged with the tail UP.

Does season really matter or is can you catch fish all season long on this??? And what are some of your favorite cover to though a swimming jig around or into??

It's not something that works all the time. I like it around submerged or semi-matted vegetation. Wood is not always the best.

I like White and Sunfish colors, some luck on lakes but have absolutely crushed them on the Mississippi with them
