Selling shotguns in minnesota

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any special rules for a private party selling a shotgun to another private party in minnesota? anyone have any tips?? what kind of paperwork ect... thanks so much!

I have bought and sold a few guns private party, and this is what I do. I just draft a paper saying that I your name am hereby selling the gun's make and model and sereal number if possible to the buyers name. Both of you sign it at the bottom and keep a copy and give a copy to the buyer.

No rules or laws to follow - just common sense - Do what Chris T says and if the weapon is used in the commission of a crime you have some backup.
