I am just wondering if anyone's heard anything about what's happening with the 2 line proposal?

I was wondering the same thing. I dont understand all the opposition to this, you still cant keep any more fish, you just might get you limit faster.

The bill was introduced and referred to the Environment and Natural Resources Committee then referred to the Game, Fish and Forestry Division Committee. The bill hasn't been added to the committee agenda yet.

There was some debate on it on a call-in outdoor radio show last week on 100.3FM around 5 or 6pm, I think. The hosts took the position that there is probably no harm in it and that the worst case scenario is that an angler could limit out sooner. Personally, I see the 1 rod rule as being a bit odd, quaint, and probably arbitrarily legislated.
