Where was this images taken (town/county)? I had a bobwhite run through my yard a few summers ago. They are pretty uncommon up here around Duluth. I would guess it was an escapee from either a dog trainer, game farm or the like. I found it because of its easily recognizable call. It was running around screaming its name.

This was taken on the out skirts of the city of Carlton so I would have to believe that someone is raising them for training or hoping that they will establish themselves.Last summer we had a rooster pheasant hanging around so I am not too surprised to see birds that really should not be here.
