Gary Clancy wrote an article in the Outdoor News and in it he talked about wrapping a gun with white ankle wrap from Fleet Farm - My question has to do with how this will affect the finish - Will it leave a glue like finish or come off pretty clean?

Just wanted to let everyone know that I went to Fleet Farm on bought some white (off-white) ankle tape and it works great. This stuff is foam rubber and sticks to itself very well, but there isn't any adhesive. Put it on the gun and took it of a couple hours later just to see and it was good to go.
