can any one give me a good estimate how much meat, in pounds, I can expect from a 130-140 lb deer?

About 80 pounds - And thats cleaning them really well.

80 lbs !! more like 50-55 lbs

We've gotten about 50% meat to gutted weight on the ones we clean. If you are talking live weight, then 50 # would be close - If that is gutted weight, you're leaving a lot behind.

My first thoughts were to say about 1/2, give or take a bit depending on your trim level.
