Bow hunting land

Any one know of land around south metro (Elko New Market area) for bow hunting next year? I know there is state land but is there someone that might have or know that has land that would be open for hunting? Also has anyone hunted the public land for deer? Does it get a lot of bow hunting pressure in that area?

I ran into a guy at work the other day, who enrolled in a DNR program where he is able to hunt the bowhunt season in city parks. He said you would have to enroll in a class and pay a fee ($15) do some test shooting and you are good to go. Should be alink on the DNR HSOforum.

I know of no such DNR program, but it sounds like MBRB. They do management hunts for cities and county parks. This was my first year in it. Its a decent program.
