what are snow conditions on devils? i am coming up next weekend just wondering if a snowmobile would be ok or if i should bring an atv, it would be easier for me to borrow a snowmobile for the trip

The forcast is for snow on Thursday Friday and Saturday. Figures, because I'm headed that way for Christmas. Always has to give me some interesting times for travel. CAJ

Doubt you will see snow it is pretty brown in ND. I did see snow this past weekend until I got north of Grand Forks. So I would doubt you will see it. Like mention snow is predicted but I don't think it will be all that much.

Devils Lake ahd aproximatly 2-3 inches of snow on it in drift form. lots of open ice pathces. 4 wheeler would be better. People are driving on some spots with full size pickups. I won't say where cuz i dont wont to feel bad when you fall in.

There is very little snow cover on the lake. An ATV we be your best bet for travel. Some people are starting to drive but in limited areas. Bring an AYV and stay mobile.
