Ice Auger, where to get it fixed?

I got my strikemaster serviced at scheels and they tuned it up and it seemed to run great. But when I got on the ice, it had no torque. I called strikemaster and they said that most places tune them up, but they don't do the required torque test. It cost a little bit with shipping, but when you get on the ice and your auger doesn't work, it's a very small price to pay.

D-Rock center in New Brighton does a great job with ice augers. Bought mine there a couple years ago, and they have many spare parts and replacement augers. Don't be fooled when you drive into the place and see what looks like a landscaping business - I think that's their summer job - They supply the augers for many of the ice tournaments in the metro area. Don't know if you've tried anything yet, but a little shot of seafoam in the gas tank, a new spark plug, clean the air filter (if equipped) and try it again. I don't know what the shops do for a tune-up, but that pretty much covers everything except carb adjustments.

Try a couple drops of oil in the cyclinder - just take the spark plug out and drop it in (any kind, 2 stroke is fine) and it might give you the compresion you need. This little trick does wonders on anything at all.
