Grouse Hunting or Ice fishing?

I have never been this torn before. Do I go out Ice fishing tomorrow, or do I go grouse hunting one last time? I think I will bring teh dog out for one last time this year. I will have another 4 months to fish. I hate tough decisions!

I've been thinking about the same thing. Given the ice conditions, I'm thinking another walk in the woods is the way to go.

ooooooh tough decision. I went grouse hunting last weekend, but only flushed a covey of 5 about 50 yards away. I'm going to head a bit north and hit the ice this weekend. The grouse have stumped me the last couple outings.

I wish we'd get some snow.

It is a unique opportunity that I've been tempted by; to go stroll the ridges and ravines where I deer hunt, hunting partridge. The later closing pheasant season is there also. My friend has a three year old springer. We bagged a few roosters over her one morning last weekend. Whatever we choose, can't go wrong.

I made the wrong decision, I went grouse hunting friday, only saw one bird, and went for pheasants today, nothing. I should have brought my ice fishing stuff. it was nice to be out though, lots of time for fishin'
