Licenses in Fort Frances?

Will be headed through Fort Frances around 6pm on a Wednesday..looking for the license vendors in town that may be open at that time...thanks for any info..

Rainy Lake Sports is open everyday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. They are located on the Rainy River upstream from the Dam.

Witherspoon's Esso, just past McDonalds (west end of town, on Hwy 11 is open till 11:00. I have gotten my license from them on my January trip to Nestor Falls for the past 7 or 8 years. They also sell bait and have a small selection of tackle.

Im not totally sure but doesnt that big walmart have liscences?

Thanks for all the quick answers...usually we are in Nestor Falls when the stores are open but we will be hitting it a little later this year..

RL Sports might still be open at 6 a.m., but last winter they never opened until 7, which is not a good way to do business as a bait shop. Makes it tough to stop there on our way up fishing all the time, but they usually give a really good minnow count (rare in Canada if you're a yankee.) I hope they smartened up enough, but that 6 a.m. might be over with real quick if not already.

Rainy Lake Sports has treated me well. If your heading east out of the fort, there's also a place called "The Great Bear"

Thanks for the "Heads Up" on Witherspoon's. What time is this little place in Emo open till. Are they right on Hwy 11?
