Planning a trip in Feburary to Devil's-need ideas on lodging

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

It's been a few years since I've fished Devil's and its long overdue for me to hit it again. I'm just wondering where we should stay. I know of a couple of hotels in town and we're actually talking about the casino. If we stay at the casino am I right in guessing that we can take off from there with trucks or sleds and get to good fishing pretty easily? We're also considering Woodland or wherever. Any ideas?

Thanks!

MJ

The Great American Inn and Suites is pretty nice it has pretty much everything you want.

The nicest hotel in town is the Comfort Inn

There is a super 8, Day Inn, and The trails west but they aren't anywhere near as nice as the other two I mentioned. Then of course the Casino is another option.

For Eats make sure to hit the Ranch Steak house it is pretty good.

The Great American Inn is good they also have a heated room for cleaning fish trails west and the super eight are cheaper but they dont have the amenities. there is no need to stay on the lake because there are plenty of places to get on. I also second the Ranch for food and couple of drinks.

We have been using the Great American Inn and Suites for a number of years now and we have never had anybody complain. They have ererything under one roof which is nice so you dont have to do any running around. They have an excellent fish cleaning room that is for hotel guests only and some of the best prime rib in town at the bar and grill. When your done fishing you can relax with a few drinks at the bar or sitting by the pool.
