Portable Fish House Reflectors?

Just wondering what you guys use for reflectors on your protables. I've tried the tape, but as it gets cold, it cracks. Is there an easy button to push to solve this problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

I bought the DOT red/white strips and put them on the sled. The seem to stick pretty good even in the cold. I also put a stip on my address card and covered it with clear tape and I put some on the wind pole that is in the back of the house and leave the window flap down so it can be seen, so that covers me on all 4 sides. What I have seen a few guys do is take a reflective tape and fold it back over it self to create double sided reflective tape and then they use safety pins and put a few on each side of the house. Most new house come with some reflective fabric already attached.

I used hard plastic reflectors with mounting holes and used pop rivets with fender washers on the back to mount them to the canvas. Saw this suggestion on this site a couple years back. Works great!

used the tape three years ago and put it on the smooth window surface. no problems as of yet. ... paul

I just went to an auto parts store and bought some of the reflector strips they have a peel off back and have stayed on very well.

That sounds like a good system. My main concern was how to fasten something to the canvas. I think this will work.

I have a question. I just baught a new Eskimo Quick fish 3. Do I still need to add reflectors or the ones that come on the side of it ok?

The ones that are on it are good.

I bought last years model and it has reflectors on all corners, this is all that is required for reflection. The houses do not look like they were updated from last years model.

I work for MnDOT, and the vests that we wear for road work have to be replaced when they lose their visibility (the bright chartruese part). However, the reflective parts are usually still good. I just cut the strips out and safety pin them to the fabric.

If you already have some stitched into your canvas, you should be ok. Just make sure that you have at least some sort of reflection on each side of your house.
